Margaret, Sharon, Stephen and Karl, together with the entire family circle of the late Tony Doherty, formerly of 27 Danesfort Crescent, Derry, wish to express their heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported them during their recent sad bereavement.
Tony passed away peacefully after a brief illness at Altnagelvin Hospital on 8th February 2026.
The family would like to sincerely thank all those who called to the house, attended the wake and funeral, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards and messages of support, donated to Foyle Hospice, and those who travelled to be with them at this difficult time.
A special word of thanks to the doctors and nursing staff at Altnagelvin Hospital for the care and compassion shown to Tony during his illness. Thanks also to the priests who celebrated the beautiful funeral Mass and to everyone who participated in the liturgy and music.
The family are deeply grateful to neighbours, friends and all who helped in any way throughout the wake and funeral arrangements.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation.
