Una Carr (née Byrne)
The family of the late Una Carr wish to express our deepest gratitude for the overwhelming sympathy and support we received during our recent bereavement. We would like to thank all our extended Byrne and Carr families, friends and neighbours whose help and support was greatly appreciated and will always be remembered.
To all those who attended the wake and funeral, sent flowers or messages of condolences and left mass/sympathy cards, these were greatly appreciated and provided comfort at this difficult time.
Thank you to Canon John Kearney for the warm-hearted requiem mass, Dromintee committee who carried out a dignified guard of honour, Tara and Amy O’Hanlon and Sean Rooney for the beautiful singing and music and The Flagstaff Inn for the after-funeral meal. Thank you to McGennity Funeral Directors for carrying out all the funeral duties in a professional and dignified manner.
Thank you to Dr Hampshire, the staff in Meadowlands surgery and Daisy Hill hospital, the District nurses and staff in Meigh pharmacy for their professional services. To The Enable Carers Team along with Sharon, Rachel and Jennifer we thank you for all your help and family support over the past weeks.
To all Una’s close friends who helped her through her short illness, this was very much appreciated and you will always be remembered for your loyalty and kindness.
Una’s months mind mass will be held on Wednesday 6th May at 7.30pm in St Joseph’s Church, Meigh.
