We, the family of the late Val Cassidy wish to express our sincere gratitude and heartfelt appreciation to all those who sympathised with us on the loss of a much loved husband, father, father in law , grandfather, brother and friend. We are extremely grateful to all those who visited our home, those who travelled far and near to be with us, sent cards, messaged and supported us throughout. A special thanks to our great neighbours, our extended family and friends who were so helpful and kind, and to Derrylin O'Connell's expert organisation to allow access to the house. Thanks to the Altnagelvin Team for the incredible medical care, professionalism and compassion shown to Val.
We also wish to thank Father Gerard Alwill, Bishop Martin Hayes, Fr. Denis Murray and Fr Maurice Mc Morrow who concelebrated the requiem Mass. Thanks to all who helped in the church, the beautiful choir and the touching guard of honour by St. Aidan's school. A huge thanks to Pat and Mark Blake for their care and professionalism in carrying out all funeral arrangements and being an exceptional support to the family. Thanks, also to the Slieve Russell and Tony Walker for outstanding service at the funeral dinner.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions
