Vaughan Williams
It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Vaughan Williams, peacefully at home after a short illness on 8th April 2026.
Late of 16 Beechwood Crescent. May he rest in peace.
Dearest husband of the late Paula. Beloved son of the late Catherine and Don. Loving brother of Paul, Donna, Peter, Stephen and the late Leo. A much loved uncle to all of his nieces and nephews. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his wider family circle and friends.
Vaughan’s remains will be reposing at his brother Peter’s home, 36 Oakfield Rd from 5pm tomorrow afternoon, Thursday 9th April. Funeral leaving from there on Saturday 11th April at 9:20am for 10am Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Creggan. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery.
The wake house will be private from 10pm until 11am.
