Deeply regretted by her loving children Angela, Aiden, Nicola, Damian and Charlene, her sons-in-law Paddy, Mickey and Anthony and daughters-in-law Siobhan and Kym, her grandchildren Laura, Daniel, Aisling, Lorcan, Erin, Finn, Megan, Marley, Hazel, Ruairi and Daniel and the entire family circle, we would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all those who sent letters, Mass cards, sympathy cards, offered online condolences, sent flowers, brought refreshments and sympathised, prayed for and supported us in many ways.

To all those who joined us for mum’s last journey to St Mary’s Church, Killyclogher, our good neighbours in Richmond Park and to those who stood along the way, as well as those who joined us via the webcam.

To Rev Fr Kevin McElhennon PP and Fr Declan McGeehan CC for their spiritual support over the years and for the beautiful Requiem Mass and heartfelt sermon which was a fitting tribute to mum’s life and offered great solace to the family.

Our thanks also to Bernie Devlin for providing the beautiful music which enhanced the liturgy.

Our appreciation to the doctors, nurses and staff of Three Spires Surgery, the District Nursing Team, Carla from Foyle Hospice, Marie Curie and especially Majella, the carers from North West Care and Lakeland Community Care, Brenda from the Social Care team, Patrick, Sinead, Niall and the staff of Slevin’s Chemist, whose help and support over the years has proven invaluable.

A sincere thanks to O’Kane Brothers for the dignified and respectful manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to those who prepared the grave.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our most sincere and heartfelt gratitude to everyone who helped in any way.

Veronica’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Mary’s Church, Killyclogher at 10am on Thursday 21st December and can also be viewed via the parish webcam.
