Smith (née McKerr), (Sloan Street, Lurgan), February 8, 2026, peacefully at Craigavon Area Hospital, surrounded by her loving family and close friends.

Veronica, beloved wife of the late Desmond (Dessie), a dearly loved mother of Kathy, and a loving grandmother to Maeve. Loving daughter of the late Pat and Kitty McKerr (Shankill, Lurgan), and a dear sister of the late May, Tessie, Patsy, Kathleen, Leonard, Joe, Ita, Oliver, and Anne, Jim and Noel who died at infancy, a much-loved sister-in-law, aunt, great aunt and a treasured friend.

Leaving McAlinden & Murtagh Funeral Home, 43 Ardmore Road, Lurgan, BT66 6QP, today, Wednesday at 1.30pm to St. Paul’s Church, Lurgan, for Requiem Mass at 2.00pm, with burial afterwards in St Colman’s Cemetery.

Saint Theresa pray for her.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her sorrowing family, and her good friends Mena and Annabel and the wider Chambers family.
