Family Acknowledgement for the Late Veronica (Vera) Breen

We, the family of the Late Veronica Breen, wish to extend our heartfelt thanks and gratitude to everyone who offered their sympathies and support to us during our recent sad loss.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who attended the wake and funeral, sent online messages and cards - we thank you sincerely and heartfelt thanks too to our solid team of helpers who worked tirelessly at the wake. Sincere thanks to Stuart Graham for the highly efficient shuttle bus service during the wake.

We would like to thank Rev Fr Pádraig Mac Kenna PP for the beautiful and fitting Requiem Funeral mass and Canon John Mc Kenna PE, who assisted. Thanks to everyone who took part in the mass and to Patricia Rogers for her beautiful singing and music.

We also wish to thank the teams at Trillick & Dromore Surgery and Lakeside Medical Practice for all of their help and support during Veronica’s illness. A special thanks also to all of the wonderful carers from Care Plus and Lakeland Community Care who looked after Mammy with such compassion during her illness. Towards the end, our heartfelt thanks also go to the Hospital at Home team in Enniskillen, the District Nursing Team and the Marie Curie Team, who cared for Mammy with such kindness, love and respect.

We truly appreciate the dignity and kindness shown by everyone at John McKeegan Undertakers in handling all aspects with care and compassion and to John who prepared Veronica’s final resting place with such meticulous attention and care.

Sincere thanks to Joe Mahon and team for providing the delicious lunch after the burial.

As it is impossible to thank you all individually, please accept this acknowledgement of the family’s appreciation of your support.

Veronica’s Months Mind mass will be celebrated on Sunday 12th April 2026 at 11am in St Macartan’s Church, Trillick.
