We, the family of the late Veronica Kelly (formerly of Sunnycrest Gardens, Omagh), wish to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who sympathised with and supported us during our recent bereavement. Our heartfelt thanks go to everyone who attended the wake and funeral, called at our home in the days after the funeral, sent mass cards, sympathy cards or contacted us with messages of condolence.

We extend a special word of thanks and appreciation to all those who cared for Veronica over the past few months – to the dedicated staff of South West Acute Hospital, in particular to the Stroke team who displayed such professionalism and warmth of care to her. We thank Veronica’s Reablement team, the District Nurses team and North West Carers’ team – all of whom attended her at home with such kindness, professionalism and compassion. We thank Three Spires Medical Practice for their diligent oversight of her medical needs.

We would like to sincerely thank Fr. Malachy Gallagher for his spiritual comfort to Veronica and his spiritual support to the family during the wake. We would also like to thank him,Fr. Paul Montague and Fr. Jozef for their beautifulconcelebration of Veronica’s Requiem Mass.

We express our deepest appreciation to all the governors, staff, past staff and pupils from Omagh Christian Brothers’ Grammar School for their dignified and respectful guards of honour both before and after the Requiem Mass. We thank Claire Sharkey for her lovely music which enhanced the Massand to Attracta, the sacristan, for preparing the Church so beautifully.

We express our heartfelt thanks to Fergal Farley, Funeral Director, for his wonderful support and the dignified and professional manner in which he and Paddy carried out the funeral arrangements. We thank Fergal, Kathleen and theirstaff for providing the lovely food and refreshments after the funeral.

We convey our gratitude to Luke Quinn who prepared Veronica’s final resting place.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgment will be accepted as a token of our deep appreciation and gratitude.

Veronica’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 26th October in St. Mary’s Church, Killyclogher at 11am.
