We the son, daughters, brothers, sisters and grandchildren of the late Vincent Owens wish to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all who sympathised and with us during our recent sad loss.
We would especially like to thank our extended families, friends and neighbours, your presence and generosity brought us great comfort and your kindness will be forever remembered.
Thank you most sincerely to those who sent mass cards, sympathy cards, telephoned and sent messages of comfort.
Thank you to all who travelled from near and far to attend the wake and funeral mass, your kind words and sharing of memories have brought us great comfort.
Thank you to those who provided practical support including providing food, preparing meals and serving tea, we truly appreciate it, it meant the world to us.
We wish to express our deep gratitude to Monsignor Colum Curry who celebrated a beautiful Funeral Mass and burial and for his comforting visits during the wake.
Our thanks also to Fr. Paddy Hughes for his pastoral support.
A special thank you to singer Niamh McGlinchey for the beautiful music and to musician Deirbhile Canavan for her contribution.
Thanks also to all who participated in the funeral Mass with readings, Prayers of the Faithful, Offertory Procession, administering the Eucharist and those who helped prepare the Church and burial ground.
Our particular thanks to the Homecare Care Assistants who supported Vincent at home in recent years. We also extend our thanks to Steven and the staff of Moneymore Pharmacy for their support.
We would also like to express our sincere thanks to all the dedicated and compassionate health care professionals involved in Vincent’s care in Antrim Area Hospital.
Our sincere thanks to Colleèn and all at Niall A. Loughran Funeral Directors for their guidance and for the caring, dignified and professional handling of the funeral arrangements.

Vincent was a much loved father, father-in-law, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, godfather, friend and neighbour.
And to Vincent, whilst your presence is missed every day, our memories are cherished forever.
