For the mass and sympathy cards thank you all. Thanks to the doctors and nurses and staff at Tempo Medical Centre for the care and attention Mammy received.
To Ronan Warnock and staff and previously Siobhan and staff in the pharmacy in Tempo, your help and efficiency was always appreciated. Thank you to Doctor McLoughlin and all the staff in the Altnagelvin Hospital for their care and attention in her declining health.
Thanks also to Palliative Transport Service for their courteous and respectful manner on the journeys to Derry and home. We thank the carers who helped Mammy when she could no longer look after herself. Mammy always enjoyed these girls’ company and banter and of course the care they provided. A very special thank you to all the Marie Curie Nurses their care to Mammy and ourselves was always outstanding, their care to her will never be forgotten.
We would like to thank Kate McDonald and Anne Quinn and Mammy’s neighbours and friends for their help in her last few weeks and during the wake, we appreciated you all.
To Father Brendan Gallagher, Father John Halton and Father Raymond Donnelly a very special thank you, your prayer and support was appreciated and was great comfort to Mammy. We thank you Father Raymond for the beautiful Requiem Mass.
Thank you to John McKeegan Undertakers for the professional and dignified manner they carried out her final journey and to the grave diggers. To Jacqui Bannon for the beautiful singing. Thank you to the Valley Hotel staff for the refreshments.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone for their help and kindness, please accept this acknowledgment of our sincere gratitude and appreciation.
Mammy’s months mind mass will be celebrated in Immaculate Conception, Tempo on Friday 6th February at 7pm.
