The son, daughter, dog Buddy and wider family circle of the late Wendy Hambling would like to express sincere appreciation and thanks to all that supported us through our recent bereavement. Thankyou to those who attended the wake and funeral and thank you to those provided food, sent cards, messages of sympathy and condolences, flowers and donations in lieu of flowers to Grovehill Animal Trust.
A special thank you to our dear friend Heather Beattie who worked tirelessly at the wake and played the organ and piano beautifully at the funeral. Thank you to Canon Derek Quinn who provided ongoing pastoral support to Mum over the years and to Canon Robert Clarke who stepped in to conduct Mum’s funeral empathetically in Derek’s absence. Thank you to Glenpark Estate for the welcome after funeral refreshments and blossoming blooms for the beautiful funeral flowers.
We also express sincere appreciation to Sinead (Social worker) the staff at Knockmoyle for the care during Mum’s brief respite period and also Community Sister Martina Donaghy and her team and Drumragh practice who supported us to care for Mum at home. Additionally we would like to thank Robert and Derek Armstrong for their professional and caring manner in conducting the funeral arrangements. While it is impossible to thank everyone we would like to acknowledge this as a token of our sincere gratitude and appreciation.
