Acknowledgement/Month’s Mind Mass

We, the family of the late William (Willie) Fisher would like to express our sincere thanks and heartfelt gratitude to all who sympathised with us on the loss of our much loved brother-in-law and uncle.

To all our family, friends, and neighbours, everyone who attended the wake and funeral, sent Mass and sympathy cards, personal messages of condolence, and to all who supported us and helped us through this difficult time- your kindness will never be forgotten.

We would also like to thank Edgewater Nursing Home, Alexander House, Bridge Street Medical Centre and Altnagelvin Hospital for the excellent care and support that they provided over the years.

We would like to offer our sincere thanks to Father Gerard Mongan for his spiritual support and pastoral care and for celebrating the beautiful Requiem Mass. Thanks also to Denise O'Kane and Aidan Watkins for the beautiful singing and music.

We would also like to extend thanks to the Abercorn Bar for their kind hospitality following the service.

Finally, sincere thanks to Kieran and the staff from WJ O’Brien and Son Funeral Directors for their invaluable, dignified support, guidance and professionalism.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our appreciation and gratitude.

Willie’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 28th December 2025 at 12 pm in the Long Tower Chapel.
