I, Kelley, the daughter of the late Willie Gallagher, who peacefully passed away on the 28th August 2026, would like to sincerely thank all those who offered their sympathy and support following our recent sad loss.
We are deeply grateful to all those who called to our home, sent mass cards, flowers and attended the funeral mass.
We are sincerely grateful to our family and Daddy's friends who supported us throughout Daddy's illness, in particular his final days and also during the wake, it really means a lot to us.
A huge thanks to the staff of the Foyle Hospice, who were so attentive to Daddy and all of us as a family. A special thank you to Dr. Eileen Devlin who was a great comfort to Daddy in his final days.
Thanks is also extended to the Doctors and staff of Abbey Medical, Bradley's Pharmacy in William Street, the District Nurses and his home carers who went above and beyond with their care for Daddy.
A special word of thanks to Fr. Stephen Quinn of Termonbacca, for his friendship to Daddy in his final months, his comforting words and beautiful Funeral Requiem Mass and to Charlene McDaid and Ramon Ferguson for their beautiful music.
Finally, our sincere thanks to Kieran and all the team at McClafferty Funeral Directors for their care, attention to detail and for carrying out our wishes with respect and dignity.
