Passed away peacefully 25th July 2026, at the Northern Ireland Hospice, with his loving wife June by his side. Late of Palmer Street, Belfast. Beloved husband of June, dear brother of Mark, brother-in-law of Anne and Jacqueline, treasured uncle of Jade, Lara, Ian and Gareth.

A Service of Thanksgiving will be held in Sandy Close Funeral Services on Friday 31st July at 9.30am and afterwards to Roselawn Cemetery.

Family flowers only please, donations in memory of Jim may be made to Northern Ireland Hospice, 18 O’Neill Road, Newtownabbey, BT36 6WB or online at williamjamesadams.muchloved.com

Will be sadly missed by his loving wife and the entire family circle.

In loving memory of Uncle Jim.
A massive Arsenal fan, a lover of darts and sport, and a man who always had a good joke ready. You always made me and Ian laugh, and we’ll never forget the memories we had with you.
I’ll always remember texting you when Arsenal lost — and you not texting me back for weeks! That was Uncle Jim all over.
When I was a wee man, you’d take me out for a burger, and I’ll never forget the day I was in tears over my first wood splinter. To me it felt like the end of the world, but you just bit it out, problem solved, and off we went for a Whopper burger.
You’ll be greatly missed, Big Jim. The Gunners now have a true angel watching over them.
